Done to Death, and Still Not Finished

I know skulls have probably been overdone to death. But that's exactly why I keep returning to them.

The form stays the same, so there's nowhere to really hide. Each one becomes its own individual test.

The test is something like: can I make it better, or stranger, or more refined, or take it in a direction I haven't taken it before?

As long as I can keep pushing the form forward, I'll keep returning to it.
